How To Measure

Cómo medir

Peel and stick wallpaper is a convenient way to refresh your home by adding color or pattern to your walls no painting required. Use it for an entire room, a striking accent wall, or a fresh look throughout your house. Measuring for wallpaper can feel overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be.

In this simple guide, we'll walk you through measuring your walls to order the exact amount without hassle.

1. Measure Your Wall's Width and Height

Always use a measuring tape! never use measuring apps on your phone. Measure in inches, never use fractions, and round up to the next whole number.

Walls are rarely perfectly straight. Measure the width at the top and bottom, and then the height on both sides. If the measurements don't match, use the larger width and height when ordering.

Sloped Walls: Measure the highest and widest points. Trim the leftover material during installation.

Doors & Windows: Measure the full width and height, ignoring doors and windows. Install the wallpaper and cut around the openings while applying.

Multiple Walls: Combine the widths of each wall to calculate the total number of panels required.

2. Calculate Panels Needed

Our panels are 24" wide. Divide total wall width by 24 and round up.

For example: 12' wide wall = 6 panels

Our wallpaper sizes are:

Size (inches) Size (feet) Coverage
24"W x 36"H 2' x 3' 6 ft²
24"W x 48"H 2' x 4' 8 ft²
24"W x 60"H 2' x 5' 10 ft²
24"W x 72"H 2' x 6' 12 ft²
24"W x 84"H 2' x 7' 14 ft²
24"W x 96"H 2' x 8' 16 ft²
24"W x 108"H 2' x 9' 18 ft²
24"W x 120"H 2' x 10' 20 ft²

Step 3: Choose your panel length and order

Select panels that cover your full height. We recommend always ordering extra for cuts and errors.

For Example: Wall 8' wide x 6' high = 4 panels 24"W x 72"H
